About us
Who we are
First Baptist Church of Houston, Mo., offers a variety of programs for all ages ranging from children's church and youth ministries to Sunday School classes for every age and senior adult ministries. We meet individual needs and then worship collectively on Sunday mornings and evenings. Our new night schedule includes a youth-led worship service, followed by an evening service.
We are located at the corner of Hawthorn St. and Airport Road and are affiliated with the Texas County Baptist Association, Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. We were established in 1883, so we have a long history of providing ministry to our community.
We believe as a family, God has called us in fellowship to help and encourage one another. We are committed to worshipping God, serving our community, sharing the Good News and making disciples.
