Information on our church ministries

The First Baptist Church of Houston, Mo. is affiliated with the Texas County Baptist Association, Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. The church was established in 1883, so we have a long history of providing ministry to our community. Our ministry is inclusive from children through senior adults. We believe as a family, God has called us in fellowship to help and encourage one another. We are committed to worshipping God, serving our community, by sharing the Good News and making disciples. Because we have excellent facilities, many social groups meet in our building. It is our goal to minister to our church and community family. We offer many Biblical training opportunities throughout the week to help members to be strengthened in their faith.
